Breaking up my end-of-residency blues, two lovely ladies descended to little San Antonio to pay me a week-long visit. We had a good time, saw some of my favorite places and generally wrapped up my three years in the city with a big bang. I especially liked the Shriner parade, including giant spinning zim-zim cap.
